Umuzi Experiences

Fine art is not an accessible career in South Africa. With Umuzi Experiences, we aimed to improve this access by mentoring aspiring artists in our community and producing pop-up exhibitions for them in Cape Town and Johannesburg.

Our biggest exhibition so far was during a partnership with AFROPUNK in 2017. Here we produced an Art experience in Braamfontein that explored language in Africa.

Kgomotso Neto is an Umuzi Alumni who has established himself as a renowned photographer in South Africa and abroad. In 2018, Umuzi Experiences produced his first solo exhibition in Johannesburg and Cape Town.
